Creative Director

 
Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in the creative industry
  • A solid academic background in and a mastery of one or more of the following disciplines:
  • Art direction & design: Graphic design, advertising, art direction
  • Writing: Copy, content, scriptwriting
  • User experience: Information architecture, interaction design, content strategy
  • Film: Motion graphics, animation, 3D, editing, directing
  • Creative development: Digital design; front-end development in Flash, HTML, CSS, or other front-end development technologies
  • Exceptional communication skills: Verbal, written, interpersonal and inter-departmental
  • A strong ability and experience in leading, directing and managing a group of cross-disciplinary teams
  • Strong deck writing and dynamic presentation skills
  • A solid understanding of digital media as well as the marketing industry at large; an ability and a desire to adapt to the changing landscape of technology

 
Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Direct. Directs the effort to develop creative concepts and implementations in a cross-disciplinary manner. Works with Account Management to establish strategic and creative approaches for a given assignment. Works in a hands-on capacity internally and externally; helps develop the strategy, vision and concepts.
  • Creative craft skills. Sets creative direction and provides hands-on guidance throughout the duration of client team projects. Displays a cohesive understanding and can execute the principles that make innovative and effective digital communications, interface design, and interaction design.
  • Idea generation. Leads by example to consistently inspire creative colleagues to create world-class, pioneering ideas that conceptualize world-class solutions. Generates useful, usable ideas across all existing and emerging digital platforms. Continually develops practices and processes to inspire, innovate, and harness new ways of thinking. Creates solutions that will have a business impact on clients as well as a cultural impact on consumers.
  • Mentoring. Actively trains, mentors, and manages junior- and mid-level creatives. Proactively identifies and resolving issues. Acts as a career manager: Responsible for managing and guiding junior- and mid-level creatives’ careers.
  • New business development. Creatively leads new business pitches. Responsible for ideas and creative work, and competently presents pitches.

 

 

 

 

Art Director

 
Responsibilities:

  • Personally work on the graphic development of various projects.
  • Interact with Copywriters to develop creative concepts and execution of assigned projects.
  • Possess solid understanding of the market dynamics.
  • Work closely with account executives to help schedule and monitor all projects.
  • Perform tasks, as directed by Creative Director. Help build and maintain Client Relationships
  • Advise client on all technical visual recommendations and/or issues.
  • Help facilitate creative meetings.
  • Assist in making presentations to client.
  • Provide detailed direction to designers.
  • Assist in the education and development of more junior art directors/designers.

 
The ideal Art Director should have:

  • Mastered composition techniques (multiple elements and interactive pieces) in producing polished final pieces (i.e., attention to detail).
  • Comprehensive computer photo-retouching and image development skills.

 
Demonstrated complete understanding of:

  • Color theory and color relationships.
  • Typographic terms that identify type forms and the specifications required to refer to typographic settings (i.e., points, leading, picas, kerning, tracking, cap-height, x-height etc.).
  • Perspective and space relationships.
  • Page composition and grid structures.
  • Provide effective direction at photo shoots.
  • Effectively handle multiple assignments at one time.
  • Manage challenging situations both internally and with the client.
  • Able to effectively guide and interact with freelancers and designers and be able to effectively oversee their work.

 
Qualifications:

  • 5+ years design experience in an agency setting is required.
  • 2-3 years of supervisory experience required.
  • Must possess exceptional computer skills. Macintosh operating platform a must. PC knowledge a plus. Thorough knowledge of MS Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite 6 including the following software applications is required, InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and any widely utilized word processing application.

Requirements

  • Ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of agency copywriting experience.

Graphic Designer

 
Requirements

  • Multi-Tasking: working on numerous design briefs at a time
  • Producing accurate and high quality work
  • Keeping abreast of developments in IT, particularly design programs to further enhance design results
  • Working well in a team, with print suppliers, art directors, copyrighters, photographers, other designers, websites producers and marketing specialists
  • Meeting tight deadlines on a regular basis
  • Demonstrating high level organization skills and the ability to work flexibly, independently and with creative initiative

Requirements
